NCAA Looking to Dump 2006 Clock Rules

The NCAA rules committee has decided to do away with the new clock rules implemented last season. This decision still needs to be approved by the NCAA Playing Rules Oversight Panel on March 12 but it does not look like that will be a problem. I for one am thrilled to hear this. The rules made no sense and only served to give the viewer less football and more commercials. New rules will be put in place which you can see in that article. I don't have a problem with any of them, and I love the idea of limiting the reviews to two minutes. There is no reason to spend 5-6 minutes looking at a play. Make a decision and be done with it.
